Packed for Baby Stamp

Outside
Don’t forget to add some details to the inside of cards too!

I created this card for a customer using the Packed for Baby stamp on page 39 of the Occasions Mini Catalogue. One of the things I really like about this stamp is that you can use it as one big block (as shown) and you can also use each image as an individual stamp too – just by colouring only the image you want! First, I stamped the entire image and coloured it with Stampin’ Write Markers. I then stamped the bib again on a separate piece of cardstock, coloured it, cut it out and attached it over the first image with some stampin’ dimensionals so it pops out. This technique is called “spotlighting.” If you’d like to learn how to do this technique and more, watch for details of my beginners stamp class starting in March!

Workshop Hostess Gift

This is the hostess gift I created for my very first Stampin’ Up! Workshop last month. There are actually four 3 x 3 notecards (two shown) that fit inside the bag. The bag was made using the Big Shot and the  Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die (Item #115965), which is exclusive to Stampin’ Up! The patterned paper I used is called Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and the butterfly brad and organza ribbons coordinate perfectly – all three items are in Stampin’ Up!’s 2012 Sale-a-bration mini catalogue.

Sale-a-bration runs from January 24 thru March 31, 2012 and for every $60 CAD purchase you can earn a Sale-a-bration item FREE! Check out the Sale-a-bration catalogue on my demonstrator website under the promotions tab and place your order TODAY!
